Sharon Conner joined the Hanover-Caroline SWCD in 1999.  She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Mary Washington University.  Growing up on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, Conner has always had an interest in the water quality and health of the Bay ecosystem.  Her time spent working for the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) and USDA AmeriCorps Program made her the perfect fit for a career with Virginia’s SWCDs.  In her role as District Manager, Conner oversees all District programs including the VA Agriculture Best Management Practices Cost-share and Tax Credit Program (VACS) and Virginia Conservation Assistance Program (VCAP).  She also serves as the Districts FOIA officer.
