Montpelier Center Celebrates 90^th Anniversary

The Montpelier Center is celebrating its 90^th Anniversary with a special event this Sunday from 2pm-4pm at 17205 Mountain Road in Montpelier. The celebration will include a ribbon cutting and unveiling of the center's new LOVE sign, provided by a grant from Virginia Tourism’s LOVEworks project.
The Montpelier Center, built in 1929, was once Montpelier High School and later Montpelier Elementary School and is now a center for arts and education. You can find more information or register for this event here.

Beaverdam Heritage Day

Beaverdam Heritage Foundation will hold its 19^th annual Heritage Day celebration tomorrow from 9am to 2pm at Pop’s County store located at 19419 Beaverdam Road in Beaverdam. The celebration will include a petting zoo, car show, vendors, music, games and a silent auction. Beaverdam’s 2019 honorary mayor will also be announced during the celebration.
