Board of Supervisors meets Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The Board of Supervisors meets at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9. The agenda will include a recommendation from County Administration on the appointment of a Broadband Citizen Advisory Committee. Other items on the afternoon agenda include an update on tourism activities from Richmond Regional Tourism, a request by Fire/EMS Chief Jethro Piland for acceptance of a SAFER grant request and annual reports from Community Development departments and the Department of Economic Development. There is no evening session on October 9. The Board’s meetings can be watched live and an archived version is normally available on the afternoon after the meeting.

Parks and Recreation Fall Classic on Saturday

See you Saturday, 4PM - 7PM, with beautiful classic (pre-1994) automobiles at the Fall Classic Car Cruise In on Saturday, October 5 at Bass Pro Shops , free and open to the public.
Classic Owners, don't forget to claim your space at the Cruise In by registering here.
Door prize drawings will be held throughout the evening for those owners that drive their classic to the Cruise In.

October 15 is deadline for voter registration
