Construction of roundabout at Creighton/Cold Harbor begins

Construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Creighton Road and Cold Harbor Road has begun. The project will convert the existing signalized intersection into a single-lane roundabout, and will result in some traffic delays during construction. A fact sheet about the project can be here. Absentee ballots now available for Election

Absentee ballots for the 2019 General Election are now available. If you qualify to vote by absentee, you can obtain your ballot from the Voter Registration and Elections Office in the Wickham Building at Hanover Courthouse from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in addition to October 26 and November 2 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Harvest Day returns to Rural Plains

Tomorrow, from 10 am to 4 pm, Richmond National Battlefield Park invites the public to experience 300 years of history at its second annual Harvest Day. Offered in partnership with the American Battlefield Trust and the Rural Plains Foundation, this event features the Trust's signature Generations program, games and crafts, artisans, living history and historic weapons demonstrations, and more.
