Atlee Road Extended traffic changes

Beginning tomorrow, Atlee Station Road will be closed between Warren Avenue and Giles Farm Road. Traffic traveling east on Atlee Station Road will cross the bridge and reach 301 via Atlee Road in front of the Kroger. Access to Craney Island Farms and Cool Spring Baptist Church will be via existing Atlee Station Road from 301 at the WAWA. Atlee Station Road headed west from Wawa will be closed to through traffic at Dewitt Drive. Local traffic for homes on Giles Farm Road, Miles Lane, and access to the church will be allowed to continue past the road barricades at Dewitt Drive. Residents of Atlee Manor will access Atlee Station Road by using the existing traffic shift on the left side of Warren Avenue, and then will turn on to Atlee Station Road at a temporary intersection.  The right turn to Atlee Road from Cool Spring Road will be reinstated. It is expected this detour will last about six weeks. For more information contact Randy Hardman at (804) 365-6376 or email at  [email protected]
