Memorial Day ceremony honors our military veterans
All are invited to honor our military veterans by attending the Memorial Day program being held at the Hanover Veterans Memorial at Hanover Wayside Park on Monday, May 28. The program will begin at 10 a.m. Veterans who gave their life defending our nation and those who are currently serving to ensure our freedom will be honored. County offices, waste centers, libraries closed Monday
Hanover County government offices, solid waste convenience centers and branches of the Pamunkey Regional Library will be closed on Monday, May 28, in honor of Memorial Day.
Legacy Businesses are recognized
Hanover County held its annual Business Appreciation event last week at James River Cellars Winery. Recognized this year were the County’s Legacy Businesses, which have been in the County for 50 years or more (5 that have been here for more than 100 years!). The Department of Economic Development and County Administrator Rhu Harris also presented the 2018 Mark Weiss Award to Analytics.
