Board of Supervisors meets at 3 p.m. on Wednesday

The Board of Supervisors meets at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11. A presentation will be made to the Sheriff’s Office, road projects will be discussed and the Board will consider adoption of the proposed Fiscal Year 2019 County budget. There will be no evening session on April 11. Board meetings can be watched live online with the archived version up on Thursday afternoon.

School Board meets on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

The Hanover School Board meets at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10. Jennifer Greif, Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Leadership, will update the School Board on the innovative concept of Classrooms of the Future. Items on the action agenda include approval of the action plan and budget for Career and Technical Education.

April 13 is deadline to pre-register for active senior resource event

Register by April 13 to attend Hanover County's largest resource collaboration event for seniors, the third annual “Finding Value in Your Prime”. This event will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 8:30 am to 2 p.m. at the Brock Center at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland. Watch the video here.
