Community Development Committee to discuss proposed Comp Plan chapter on March 14

At its February 14 meeting, the Board of Supervisors adopted the 2017-2017 Comprehensive Plan update, but referred the proposed “Active Living and Health Neighborhoods” section to the Board’s Community Development Committee. The Community Development Committee will take up this issue on Wednesday, March 14. The meeting begins at 1 p.m. and will be held in the Emergency Communications Training Room in the E-911 Center.

Board authorizes budget public hearing on April 4

The Board of Supervisors has authorized notices for the public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2019 County Budget. The Board will hold its public hearing on Wednesday, April 4, at 7 p.m. No property tax rates are proposed to be changed..

Board meets tomorrow night

The Board of Supervisors meets tomorrow at 6 p.m. Among the items on the agenda are a request for consideration to provide staff assistance to Milestone subdivision residents and a legislative update from County Attorney Sterling Rives. At 7 p.m. a public hearing will be held on a request to add new portions of the Rutland and Providence subdivisions to the County’s Recycling Service District.
