Board of Supervisors to hold workshop on Comp Plan Wednesday

The Board of Supervisors will hold a workshop on the Comprehensive Plan at noon on Wednesday, March 22. The project team will seek guidance from the Board on concepts related to housing and active living, which includes pedestrian/bicycle mobility. The public is invited to attend and Citizens Time will be offered. This workshop will be held in the Board of Supervisors conference room on the second floor of the Administration Building.

Wednesday's Board meeting continues into the evening

The Board’s 2 p.m. meeting on March 22 continues into a 6 p.m. session in the Board’s meeting room at the County Administration Building. Following citizens' time, there will be several public hearings including the creation of a Tourism Improvement District and changes to the county code regarding the purchase of catalytic converters by scrap metal purchasers on catalytic converters as well as regulations involving open fires.
