Board approves new fire station in Mechanicsville area

The Board of Supervisors has approved Hanover Fire Station 17, which will be on the south side of Laurel Meadow School Road, just west of Lee-Davis Road, adjacent to the Laurel Meadow Elementary School.  “This represents a joint effort between departments and County Administration and a tremendous amount of work among the Board members,” said Sean Davis of the Henry District, where the station will be located. “This was an area where we needed to be and I am proud to support it. The design is phenomenal.” For more information on this project read here.
