Hanover invites residents to recycle household hazardous waste and shred personal documents Saturday

Hanover County invites residents to recycle household hazardous waste and shred personal documents on November 5 at the Mechanicsville Trash and Recycling Center. This free event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is for Hanover residents only (ID required). Read here for more information.

Registrar's office open for early voting on Saturday

The Hanover County Voter Registration and Elections Office is committed to helping all eligible registered voters maintain the ability to cast a ballot in the upcoming November 8, 2022 General Election. The office will be open on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9-5 to cast your in-person absentee ballot. It's your last chance to vote early!

The 2022 recipients of the Jean C. Harris Award for Excellence given by the Hanover County Community Services Board were William “Bill” E. Brenzovich, Sr. and Cristy A.
