Board of Supervisors meeting 5-25-22

Board to appoint Mechanicsville School Board representative; will hold public hearing on Montpelier recreation center and library

The Hanover County Board of Supervisors is expected to appoint the Mechanicsville District School Board representative at its 6 p.m. meeting on Wednesday night, May 25. Planning public hearings include consideration of the Planning Commission’s recommendation to approve a conditional use permit for a new recreation center and library in Montpelier. There is also a request for a special exception which would permit lights for a ballfield. This is the opportunity for residents to speak either in favor or opposition to the project. All Board meetings are videostreamed live here with the archived version up generally on the day following the meeting.
