Montpelier Recreation Center and Library plans proceed to Planning Commission

A community meeting was held on Monday night regarding the planned Montpelier Recreation Center and Library and support was strong for the proposal moving forward to the Hanover Planning Commission. The recreation center will include a full-size gymnasium and two classrooms. The Wickham baseball field would be maintained at the request of residents. The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold its public hearing on Thursday, April 25. If approved, it would go forward to the Board of Supervisors on May 25.
