Hanover Shopping Week Begins Saturday!

Hanover Shopping Week begins Saturday, Nov. 20 and continues through Monday, November 29. The Hanover Chamber of Commerce and the Hanover County Department of Economic Development along with Hanover County's 300th Birthday Celebration have joined forces to encourage support of our local businesses during the busiest shopping season of the year! Shoppers can pick up a punch card starting November 20 from any participating merchant. Get 5 punches and send it in to be entered for a prize! Free COVID-19 vaccinations offered in Ashland on Monday

The Chickahominy Health District will offer free COVID-19 vaccinations on Monday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The clinic will be held in the old Food Lion in the Ashland Junction Shopping Center, 135 Junction Drive, Ashland VA 23005. These are by appointment only; to register call 804-365-3240. Pfizer will be available for those ages 5 and up; Moderna and J&J (including Booster doses) for those ages 18 and up. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday

Hanover Animal Control will offer a rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats at the Hanover County Administration Building at Hanover Courthouse on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $10 per dog or cat. The Administration Building is located at 7516 County Complex road, Hanover VA 23069. Pay by cash or check only. For more details read here.
