Hanover County invites all to free celebration of County’s birthday on August 28
Mark Saturday, August 28 on your calendar! On that morning, beginning at 9:30 a.m., the County will celebrate its 300th birthday with a special event at Hanover Courthouse, led by the opening of the new Hanover Museum of History & Culture. The free event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include activities for the entire family, special guests, vendors, artisans, live music and gifts for the first 500 families in attendance. Colonial re-enactors will join the celebration and perform Patrick Henry’s “The Parson’s Cause” at 11 and 12.
