Final Week for Hanover County’s Vaccination Center

This week marks the final week of operation for the Hanover County Vaccination Center.  There are two clinics scheduled for this week including a Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson clinic on Wednesday, June 23 from 4pm – 6pm and the final Moderna clinic on Friday, June 25 from 9am – 11am.  Most of the final clinic appointments, with the exception of the one dose J&J clinic, are for second dose.  However, we will accept walk-ins.  If you receive your first Moderna or Pfizer vaccine dose at one of our remaining clinics, you will need to schedule your second dose with one of our community partners.  Our clinics are open to anyone working or living in the Chickahominy Health District (Hanover, Charles City, Goochland and New Kent.) Moderna and Johnson & Johnson have been approved for those ages 18 and up.  Johnson & Johnson is a one dose vaccine.  The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for those ages 12 and older.  Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult to be vaccinated.
