Board Meets Wednesday

The Board of Supervisors will meet on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 2:00pm.  A Citizens' Time period will be held at the beginning of the meeting.  Included on this week’s agenda is an update from Jim Taylor, Deputy County Administrator, on Hanover County’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts.  The Board is expected to approve the budget as well as any ordinances, resolutions, tax rates and policies.  The Board will also receive a transportation update including updates on various road construction projects.  All Board meetings are videostreamed live and can be watched here , with the archived meeting being available general the next day.

COVID-19 Vaccines

COVID-19 Vaccines Open to all 16+ in Richmond Area

Chickahominy Health District along with Richmond and Henrico Health Districts, and Chesterfield Health District  announced last week they were are all moving into Phase 2 of COVID-19 vaccinations. Many pre-registered individuals were contacted by emails and phone calls on Friday April 9, 2021 to schedule their appointment as soon as this week. Additional scheduling outreach will be conducted over the coming weeks until everyone who has preregistered has been contacted for an appointment.

Anyone interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine should pre-register at vaccinate.virgininia.gov or by calling 877-VAX-IN-VA, if they have not done so already.
