Holiday hours from Thanksgiving holiday

Hanover County government offices, solid waste facilities, library branches and courts will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope all of you have a great, safe holiday. The solid waste facilities will re-open at their regular times on Saturday morning.

Hanover's 300th birthday is tomorrow!

Hanover County turns 300 tomorrow! As part of what will be an ongoing celebration into next year, we are receiving special “Happy birthday” video messages on our Facebook page and 300^th Birthday Facebook page every day this week and next week as well. Hanover fire departments about to begin popular "Santa Run" events

Every year, our volunteer Fire-EMS companies participate in Santa Runs throughout Hanover County. The first (Henry Station 6) will begin this Saturday, November 28.
