Board of Supervisors meets Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The Hanover County Board of Supervisors will meet at 3 p.m. tomorrow for an afternoon-only session. Items on the agenda include a legislative/Capitol Hill update from Congressman Rob Wittman; a Richmond Regional Tourism update from Jack Berry and others with Richmond Region Tourism; and a transportation update including a road project status report. Dennis Walter, County Attorney, will address the Board on the topic of the 2021 legislative agenda. The Bard will adjourn to the Martha Ann Fields Building for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Pole Green Road community information meeting on October 27

Hanover County will be holding a citizen information meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, to present preliminary plans for the proposed widening of Pole Green Rd between Bell Creek Road and Rural Point Road. The meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in the Hanover County Administration Building, 7516 County Complex Road, Hanover, Va. Parks and Recreation “Historic Hanover Challenge” begins Saturday

Get ready, the Historic Hanover Challenge is coming! Find out how well you know Hanover County through questions, GPS check-ins, and photos using the free mobile app (Scavify). Starting October 17, you will have one week to complete the game to be entered into a prize drawing. The player that completes the challenge in the fastest time will also win a prize.
