Voters invited to use drop box at Hanover Courthouse for ballots

If you are concerned about timely delivery of your mailed-in ballots for the November 3 election, you are invited to use the drop box located outside the Hanover County Voter Registration and Elections Office. The ballot drop box is located on the northeast side of the Wickham Building at 7497 County Complex Road, Hanover VA. It is available 24 hours a day and under surveillance. If you need a replacement absentee ballot, call the Registrar’s Office at 365-6000 as soon as possible. Remember, Tuesday October 13 is the deadline to register to vote or update your existing registration.

Sliding Hill Road Construction Traffic Alert

Beginning today, the contractor on the Sliding Hill Road improvement project will be installing an eastbound left lane closure between Atlee Station Road and Kings Charter Drive from 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM daily. The purpose of this lane closure is to demo the existing median and install the new median within this corridor. The Contractor anticipates this work will take 2-3 weeks to complete. Expect delays.
