Early voting begins today

Virginia no longer requires a reason to vote absentee. Starting today, you can cast your ballot in person by visiting the Voter Registration and Elections Office. We will be open for in person voting Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. as well as Saturday, October 24 and 31, 2020 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. October 31st is the last day to vote early.

Send your applications to vote now!

You can send your applications to vote by mail now! You can visit ‘elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/’ to apply online; request an application by calling/emailing or visiting the Voter Registration and Elections Office. Ballots will be mailed. Friday, October 23, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. is the deadline to request a vote by mail ballot to be mailed to you.

Board of Supervisors to meet on Wednesday, September 23

The Hanover Board of Supervisors meets at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23. Dr. Michael Gill, School Superintendent, will update the Board on the opening of the school year. There will also be several planning public hearings beginning at 7 p.m. Board meetings are videostreamed live and an archived version is available on the website on Thursday afternoon.
