Voting Information for 2020 Election
In an update from Teresa F. Smithson, Hanover County Director of Elections/General Registrar, she says that although the county was not involved in sending out absentee voting applications, those applications can be used to apply for absentee voting. Once absentee voting has been completed, there will be a ballot drop box open to receive your returned ballot beginning on September 21 if you choose to drop off your ballot instead of mail it. The Voting Center will be open for in-person voting beginning on September 18th and run through October 31st. More information about absentee voting, in-person voting hours and voter registration can be found here.
