Sliding Hill Paving

Paving activities along Sliding Hill Road to begin Monday

Paving activities for the Sliding Hill Road Widening Project will begin Monday, July 6, if weather permits. Newly constructed outside lanes of Sliding Hill Road located between Kings Charter Drive and east towards New Ashcake Road (beyond the Hanover Airport) will be paved at this time. These paving operations are expected to occur during the weeks of July 6 and July 13. Temporary striping will be placed once this paving operation is complete, and traffic patterns will then shift to allow road construction to continue as scheduled. The Department of Public Works advises drivers to be aware these paving activities will slow traffic through this area, and they recommend using alternate routes when possible.
