Hanover to close offices, courts Monday for planning, cleaning in response to coronavirus
All government offices and facilities including the courts, solid waste centers and libraries will be closed Monday, March 16 for planning and to begin additional cleaning in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
The closures are designed to ensure the health and safety of residents, employees and the general public. Designated personnel will report for work; operations to ensure public safety and public health will not be impacted.
We’re joining with our regional partners in Chesterfield, Goochland, Henrico and the city of Richmond to ensure the health and safety of residents, employees and the general public.
The localities on Friday declared states of emergency as a precautionary measure over the global outbreak of the coronavirus. For updates and more information, visit www.hanovercounty.gov
