Kelly Evko named to School Board

Kelly Evko (not Evco) is the newest member of the Hanover County School Board. She was appointed by the Board of Supervisors Wednesday night, after being nominated by her predecessor as the South Anna District representative, Sue Dibble. Mrs. Evko has worked for three Fortune 500 corporations and her daughters attended South Anna Elementary School, Liberty Middle School and Patrick Henry High School. Mrs. Dibble cited Mrs. Evko’s strong background in business and finance as well as her leadership qualities. “I believe she will hit the ground running and will definitely represent South Anna with the same passion and dedication that I have had for six years,” Mrs. Dibble said.  Mrs. Evko said she was grateful for the opportunity to serve and “can’t wait to get started.” She will serve a four-year term.
