[ARCHIVED] Comp Plan Workshop on May 24

On May 24, the Board of Supervisors will hold a joint meeting with the Planning Commission, Economic Development Authority and representatives of the School Board and the Town of Ashland to discuss issues related to the 2017 update of the Comprehensive Plan. The meeting will be held at Birdsong Hall at Randolph-Macon College and will begin at 2 p.m.

The Comprehensive Plan describes how Hanover will look and develop for 20 years to come. It outlines goals, objectives and projections of the County's land use needs for the next 20 years.

Last updated in 2012, it is reviewed every five years.

Community meetings will be scheduled by the Planning Commission following the workshop.
