This event will be held in front of the new Hanover County Court Complex in the Rt. 301 Government Center at 7530 County Complex Road, Hanover, VA.

This annual event, held in partnership with Woodmen of the World (WOW), focuses on the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice sixteen years ago saving others during the terrorist attacks on our nation.

Guest speakers include: Ms. Angela Kelly-Wiecek, Chairman of the Hanover Board of Supervisors, Mr. Wayne Anderson, Regional Manager of Woodmen of the World, Lt. Colonel Allen Davidson, Hanover County Sheriff’s Department, and Chief Jethro Piland, Hanover Fire/EMS.  In addition, the Hanover County Sheriff-Fire/EMS Honor Guard and the Pre-K Class from All Aboard Child Development Center will participate in the ceremony.
