The Hanover County Community Services Board, in partnership with The Arc of Hanover, is offering a series of workshops to the community. The next in the series will be held on Wednesday,

September 13 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Mechanicsville Library.  The focus will be on “Planning for your Developmentally Disabled Loved One’s Future – “ABLEnow”.

Participants will learn the need-to-know basics with a knowledgeable attorney presenting estate planning to include health related issues, long term care planning, guardianship, wills/trusts, housing, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, and special needs planning.  Information also will be offered regarding tuition programs.
