Hanover County will hold a public hearing on proposed improvements to the intersection of Lewistown and Ashcake roads Wednesday, August 30 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Hanover County Airport Terminal Building, 9500 Sliding Hill Road.
The public hearing will begin with a presentation about proposed intersection improvements, including a roundabout. Public Works staff will also share details on road alignment, stormwater management, pedestrian facilities and proposed right-of-way limits. More information can be found here.
After the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session and the opportunity to engage one-on-one with County representatives. Residents can share their feedback at the meeting, email their comments or mail them to Department of Public Works Project Manager Scott Kramer, P.O. Box 470, Hanover VA 23069. Please reference “Lewistown/Ashcake PH” in all correspondence. Comments must be received by 5 p.m. by September 11 to be included in the meeting record.
