Celebrate Hanover’s favorite fruit at the Hanover Tomato Festival on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15. The family-friendly event will feature a host of children’s activities, nearly 100 handcraft and artisan vendors, agricultural displays, live entertainment, food and scores of tasty Hanover Tomatoes.
This year’s event returns to its roots with additional agricultural activities, large farm equipment and antiques. A newly expanded children’s area will feature more than 30 activity stations along with a rock-climbing wall, tractor train rides, bounce houses, petting zoo and game truck.
An amazing line up of food vendors will be selling tomato-inspired dishes and there will be thousands of juicy, fresh-picked Hanover Tomatoes for sale.
On Friday evening, the main stage will be rocking with classic and modern hits performed by the En’Novation Band. Beer and wine sales will be available with all proceeds benefitting the Hanover CREW Foundation. Saturday will feature performances from country artist Danny Kensy and Jonathan Austin’s 24-Hour Emergency Juggling and Magic Services.
The Hanover Tomato Festival is free and open to the public. The event is pet-friendly, but animals must be on a leash. To beat the summer heat, the festival will offer large cooling stations, expanded shaded seating areas and improved traffic flow in and out of the event.
The Hanover Tomato Festival is open from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, July 14 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 15.
