J. Robert Monolo was sworn in as the Beaverdam District’s representative on the Board of Supervisors on November 30. His first meeting on the Board will be December 14.
Monolo, a business owner and lifelong Beaverdam resident, was sworn in by William C. Mims, a Senior Justice with the Supreme Court of Virginia. Presiding was J. Overton Harris, Chief Judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Hanover.
Monolo was elected to the Board on November 8 to fill out the unexpired term of the late Aubrey M. Stanley Jr. Allen Davidson had been serving on an interim basis after being appointed by the Board in February until a special election could be held.
