On Tuesday, November 15, the Virginia Department of Transportation will host a design public hearing on the 43-mile-long Fall Line Trail project. This multi-use trail will extend from Ashland to Petersburg.

The public hearing will only be for the northern section of the trail, approximately 4.8 miles from the end of the Trolley Line Trail to the Longdale area of Henrico County. 

It will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the gym of Elmont Elementary School, located at 12007 Cedar Lane, Ashland. Hanover residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the project.
