On Monday, September 26, Hanover County will hold a citizen information meeting on proposed improvements to the intersection of Lewistown and Ashcake Roads. This meeting will be held from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Hanover County Airport Terminal Building, 9500 Sliding Hill Road, Mechanicsville VA. The meeting will also include an overview of the Hanover County Airport.
The purpose of this meeting is to present the preliminary roadway design, including the road alignment and the intersection layout, early in the development of the project to allow the public to have early input into the design process. Right of Way needs have NOT been fully assessed at this time. In addition, the County will provide an overview of the Hanover County Airport and give attendees a chance to answer questions about the Airport.
Questions and comments will be accepted prior to and following the meeting and every effort will be made to address questions received prior to the meeting during the presentation. Questions and comments regarding the road project should be submitted to [email protected] or mailed to the Department of Public Works, P.O. Box 470, Hanover VA 23069.
