We are pleased that she will be joining our team of dedicated staff.”

“It’s such an honor to be selected as the next Director of Finance and Management Services for Hanover County,” Six said. “I completed my graduate capstone work as an intern in Hanover’s Department of Finance and it’s a full circle moment to be chosen as the next leader of this outstanding group of professionals. I look forward to continuing the excellent financial stewardship of County resources and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve the citizens of Hanover County in my new role,” she added.

Six graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics and Virginia Commonwealth University where she obtained her Master’s in Public Administration.  She has attended a wide variety of leadership and professional development courses over her career including the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Policy’s LEAD program as well as the Government Finance Officers Association Leadership Academy.
