On the first Saturday of each month beginning Saturday, March 6, there will be a Richmond area computer and electronics recycling event at 8419 Glazebrook Avenue, Richmond, VA 23228, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Anybody in Virginia’s Greater Richmond Area is welcome to attend. Events are held rain or shine. Please arrive prior to 2:00 p.m. as the company, Securis, is unable to service those who arrive after that time.
This event allows Greater Richmond Area residents to keep their data safe with secure data destruction. It also allows community members to responsibly recycle their computers and electronics knowing that nothing will end up in a landfill.
Securis does charge for some items, including monitors, tablets, televisions and hard drive destruction (per hard drive).

Hanover County will hold its own e-waste recycling event on April 17 at the Verdi Lane center from 8 a.m. to noon.
