Effective February 10, 2021, the Hanover County Board of Supervisors will begin their standing second Wednesday meetings at 2 p.m. All evening meetings and sessions will begin at 6 p.m. and public hearings could start as early as 6 p.m.

This represents a change from the previous start times. The change in public hearing start times is intended to support increased citizen participation in public hearings.

The Board will generally meet on the second Wednesday at 2 p.m. and the fourth Wednesday at 6 p.m. In the months of June, July, August, November and December, the Board meets only once per month. Additional meetings are scheduled as necessary.
