The Hanover County Voter Registration and Elections Office will have special Saturday hours on October 24 and October 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for in-person early voting for the November 3 election. Saturday, Oct. 31, will be the last day you can vote early. Early voting takes place in the Wickham Building at Hanover County, 7497 County Complex Road, Hanover VA 23069.
Curbside voting is always available during office hours. Also, ballots can be dropped in the ballot drop box located on the northeast side of the Wickham Building. This drop box is available 24 hours a day and is under surveillance during active voting.
Friday, October 23 is the last day to request a voting by mail ballot to be mailed to you. Applications can be completed at www.elections.virginia.gov or you can request an application by calling the Hanover County Voter Registration and Elections Office. To complete the process online, the voter must provide their DMV ID (driver's license) and social security number. If the voter chooses to download and use a paper form, it must be signed and mailed to the Hanover County Department of Elections, P.O. Box 419, Hanover VA 23069 or emailed to [email protected]
