Among the Planning public hearings on the Board of Supervisors agenda for Wednesday night, May 24, is the request of Cool Springs Company to rezone 42.7 acres in the northeast corner of the intersection of Honey Meadows Road and Atlee Station Road from A-1 to Single Family Residential RS.

The proposed zoning amendment would permit 40 townhouses and 85 single-family detached homes, representing a gross density of 2.93 units per acre.  This case, which has been the subject of significant public interest, was deferred from the Board’s February 22 meeting to allow the applicant additional time to further consider community concerns about the project.

The submitted plan shows a new right-in/right-out entrance to the subdivision from Atlee Station Road.
