Taylor's Pirate Fishing Day - girl fishing and inflatable pirate ship

Hanover County Parks and Recreation mascot, Taylor, is hosting his annual fishing day - Taylor’s Pirate Fishing FUN on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Courthouse Park from 4 to 7PM.  

Hanover County Parks and Recreation, Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, Virginia Fishing Adventures and Bass Pro present this fishing fun adventure for the entire family. 

Taylor has his pirate costume ready and is bringing his large inflatable pirate ship and a pirate-themed craft project. In addition, Creative Faces by Stephanie will provide free face-painting.

No fishing license is required.  You may registration for this free event online at www.hanoverparksrec.come (search fishing) or completing the registration form on site.   

Bait and rods will be available on a first come, first served basis, but if you have your own, please feel free to bring your own.
