Twenty-one (26) citizens have graduated from the 2019 Hanover County Planning Academy.
Graduates were: Debbie Agliano, Todd Ball, Alonzo Carter, Sterling Daniel, Brad Dugai, Robert C. French, Ashleigh Hare, Frank Hargrove III, Greg Harris, Ron Hyman, Joyce Lacy, Spenser Morgan, Kristy E. Morton, Margaret Pugh, John Ringer, Don Setliff, Glen Sink, Jeannie Tostenson, Charles D. Waddell, Norman D. Ward and Robert Wood.
Graduates learned about the planning process, the rules and regulations governing zoning and subdivisions, the legal bases for planning, planning for capital improvements, and ethics in the planning process. Participants also had a chance to discuss the County’s future. Graduates were recognized by the Board of Supervisors at its March 27 meeting.
