We invite you to join thousands of volunteers from across the country at the Hanover County Park Day event.  This year Hanover County encourages individuals to come out to North Anna Battlefield Park to assist in the maintenance and restoration of this historic park site. Sponsored by the American Battlefield Trust, the Parks and Recreation Department will assist volunteers with trash pick-up, trail maintenance and general cleaning within the park. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, trash bags and other tools as necessary.

This national event has been held for the past 23 years and takes place at sites across 32 states. The American Battlefield Trust is a national nonprofit land preservation organization devoted to the protection of America’s hallowed battlegrounds.
