[ARCHIVED] Celebrate the Holiday Season with the US Air Force Holiday Concert

USAF Holiday Concerts

Celebrate the holiday season with the Hanover seniors as we head to the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC to hear a holiday concert by the U.S. Air Force - one of the premier musical organizations and is based at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC. Originally formed as a men's chorus in 1945 from the rank and file of The U.S. Army Air Forces Band, the Singing Sergeants became the first premier military chorus to integrate women in 1973. As part of The U.S. Air Force Band, the Singing Sergeants honors those who have served, inspires American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and positively impacts the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States.

Before the concert, enjoy lunch at Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant. Lunch consists of a choice of grilled salmon fillet, beef tenderloin tips, Woodford Reserve Chicken or pasta marinara (other entrees include starch and seasonal vegetable), house salad, New York cheesecake for dessert and coffee, tea or soda. Please notate entrée selection upon registration.
