[ARCHIVED] Seats Still Available for U.S. Air Force Holiday Concert Bus Trip!

The bus is filling for the latest senior adult trip. We will be headed to Washington D.C. to see the U.S. Air Force perform their Holiday Concert at the DAR Constitution Hall. The trip, offered through Hanover County Parks and Recreation Department, is Saturday, December 9 from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The registration deadline is November 9. Grab your friend, family member or neighbor and enjoy this amazing performance.

The Air Force band was originally formed as a men's chorus in 1945 from the rank and file of The U.S. Army Air Forces Band. The Singing Sergeants became the first premier military chorus to integrate women in 1973. As part of The U.S. Air Force Band, the Singing Sergeants honors those who have served, inspires American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and positively impacts the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States.

Before the concert, enjoy lunch at Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant. Lunch consists of a Caesar salad, choice of grilled Mahi fillet, beef tenderloin tips, grilled chicken or the signature 10 oz. cheeseburger with garlic fries (other entrees include starch and seasonal vegetable), New York cheesecake for dessert and coffee, tea or soda.

We invite our senior adult travelers to embark on this tailored trip. Preregistration and payment ($130 per person) is required in advance for the trip. Spaces are limited, so don’t delay in registering at www.hanoverparksrec.com.
