Purpose
The Hanover Veterans Committee was formed to establish a memorial to honor members of Hanover County who gave their lives in the service of our country.
Scope
The memorial was dedicated May 28, 2007 on Memorial Day at Hanover Wayside Park. The Hanover Veterans Committee's scope now that the memorial has been dedicated is to continue to plan activities in conjunction with the memorial.
