Sean M. Davis was elected as the Henry District Supervisor in November 2011. He was elected Chairman of the Board for 2021. He previously served as Chairman of the Board in 2018 and 2014. Mr. Davis serves on the Board's Community Development, Legislative and Safety and Security Committees and as the Board's representative on the Historical Commission. Mr. Davis also represents Hanover County on the Richmond Regional Transportation Planning Organization and PlanRVA.
Education & Organizations
A graduate of Campbell University, Mr. Davis is a veteran of the Marine Corps and is the founder of Commonwealth Training Partners, a consulting and training company providing solutions to challenges facing small business. He is active in many organizations, including the Hanover Historical Society, the Historic Polegreen Church Foundation, the Hanover Tavern Foundation, the Studley Ruritan Club, the Hanover Association of Businesses/Chamber of Commerce and Hanover ARC. He is also a Board Member of American Legion Post 175 in Mechanicsville and a former Board member of the Patrick Henry YMCA.
Family
Mr. Davis and his wife Lisa have three children. Julianne, Hannah and Justin attend Hanover's exceptional public schools and are involved in many activities. The Davis family enjoys time spent with Upward sports, Atlee Little League, Blue Star football and Hanover's many historic sites.
