Conservation Technician Internship Announcement
The Hanover-Caroline Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking a summer intern to assist with office and field work between May - August 2022. The intern will assist with a variety of conservation work, including but not limited to: surveying conservation projects, participating in field visits, providing engineering/design support for projects, review of various agricultural and residential project requests, and computer data entry/office work.
The applicant should have an understanding of agricultural BMPs, general conservation concepts, and engineering experience is highly preferred. Also, the applicant should feel comfortable working in the field with interested landowners and farmers. Most importantly, the applicant should be a team player – ready to learn and ready to work.
