Emergency or Diversionary Assistance to Needy Families

Auxiliary Grant

Auxiliary grants provide additional income to a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipient or adult who would be eligible for SSI were it not for excess income, and who resides in an assisted living facility or adult foster care home. Apply online

Heating assistance programs can help eligible households underwrite the costs of purchasing oil, kerosene, propane, natural gas, coal, wood and electricity, as well as making repairs to heating units.
